Marrow Donation Shot #1

Today I had my first Shot of Filgrastim for Friday's Bone Marrow Donation. I was pretty nervous about it because the list of side effects included nausea, vomiting, etc. I had to go to the Anderson Cancer Center for the shot. I went into the chemo room. That was a little weird. I had to sit in there for a half hour to make sure I didn't have a reaction to it. I felt fine. I came home and got ready to run! I got Wes to ride alongside me just in case I had issues. No problems.
