Charleston Family Weekend - THURSDAY

Since we had a total of four cameras and there's close to five hundred pictures, I decided to divide this up into each day... This may take me a while to go through all the pictures....
And now for a synopsis of our rather warm but fun-filled weekend.....

Thursday

Mom & Dad had a somewhat confusing flight. They left from Gulfport. While checking in, they were told that their flight from Atlanta to Charleston had been canceled. Mom called Wes and he looked online and it showed that the flight was still scheduled. They were listed on another flight that didn't leave Atlanta until 8:30 pm. But when they got to Atlanta, they found out that their flight had NOT been canceled and was in fact boarding and they had to rush to get there in time. Regardless, they got here around 1:30pm.

We went downtown and parked at the Visitor's Center and walked around for a bit. The market was already closed, but all the candy stores were open. We all got some junk food at the Charleston Candy Kitchen. (PS: Did I mention it was HOT!) We ended up at Riverfront Park and took some pictures there....
