Thursday, we all went to Courd' Alene, Idaho, just about a half hour from Spokane. (We were kicking ourselves for not bringing our passports because we were only three hours from Canada) Courd' Alene is a beautiful little resort town with a georgous lake. We walked around the park there near the lake and took a paddle boat out on the water. An Ironman competition (Triathalon) was taking place on Sunday and the exhibitioners were there. There were tons of bikes already corralled and the bouys for the swimming part of the competition were out as well. We ate outside at an italian restaurant right downtown and then walked along the pier that wrapped around the marina.
